His staff isn't done yet, it's going to be a
Dragon Spire Staff The hands in the pic belong to Michael, who was a crazy amount of help in the last bit, especially after I burnt my hand. I had him and Jonathan (who also helped make ropes) up, horray for cheap foreign labour! I guess it's labor, since they're American. That looks funny to me.
They've taken him across the border (no problems except a very long line) and are working on a stand since he doesn't stand up very well even with the load-bearing-staff. In the meantime I'm working on the staff head, which is yet another sewing project. I had considered clay or model magic, but it has lots of skinny parts I was worried about snapping. Then I remembered I could make things like that out of fabric.
We've had a bit of change of plans in the delivery, since I have to be in town friday till mid-afternoon I won't be leaving Thursday night. I might make it to PAX before the expo hall closes but delivery will likely end up being on Sat.
We didn't think he'd fit but somehow we got it all in.
